About the City of Arcadia

Platted in 1849.  Arcadia, Missouri, a small town in Iron County, is part of the larger Arcadia Valley, known for its scenic beauty and historical significance. The area is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering attractions like three state parks (Elephant Rocks, Johnson Shut-ins, Taum Sauk Mountain) and the Fort Davidson Historic Site. Arcadia Valley also hosts various events throughout the year, including the Arcadia Valley Barbeque Battle, a chalk festival, and mountain music festivals.
